Local groups share the spoils

The 2010 Highlands Steam & Vintage Fair would not have the the fantastic success that it was without the assistance of local groups and associations.

The Oberon Tarana Heritage Railway group presented its first major display in association with the Fair.

The members of Oberon Men's Shed gave freely of their time to assist with the many tasks required to successfully run the Fair.

Both groups shared in the success of the weekend. The Railway association will use their funds to assist in getting a train running on the historic Oberon Branch line.

Oberon Men's Shed will use their donation in the implementation of various activities it conducts for the men of the village of Oberon.

All  volunteers received a bundle of goodies including a 2010 rally badge and a certificate of appreciation.

This is one way that the Highlands Steam & Vintage Fair shares its success with the community.
